     A bodhisattva described in the "Introduction" (first) chapter of the Lotus Sutra as a previous incarnation of Bodhisattva Manjushri. According to this chapter, in the remote past, a Buddha named Sun Moon Bright preached the Lotus Sutra to Bodhisattva Wonderfully Bright, who propagated it after that Buddha's death and led Sun Moon Bright's eight sons to enlightenment. Wonderfully Bright had eight hundred disciples, including Bodhisattva Seeker of Fame, who is identified in the chapter as a previous incarnation of Bodhisattva Maitreya.
