1==Shaktism (Shakta philosophy)==

Śāktāgama (शाक्तागम) represents one of the three classes of āgamas (traditionally communicated wisdom).

Śāktāgama holds the idea that the worship of Śakti is the means to attain liberation.

The Śāktāgamas holds the idea that of holy wisdom imparted byDevī to Īśvara.

This is in consonance with Śaivāgamas.

The methodologies adopted in Śāktāgamas to attain the highest state are very intense and intricate in nature.

The texts of Śāktāgamas are called as Tantras.

Pratiṣṭhālakṣaṇasamuccaya of Vairocana divides the Śāktatantras in to four parts viz.

Gāruḍa, Vāma, Dakṣiṇa, Bhūta.
