A Sādhana of Sitātapatrā by Mipham Rinpoche
༄༅། །གདུགས་དཀར་མོའི་སྒྲུབ་ཐབས། །
གདུགས་དཀར་མོ་བསྒྲུབ་བར་འདོད་པས། །
If you wish to practice Sitātapatrā, then:
རང་བཞིན་འོད་གསལ་སྟོང་པ་ཆེན་པོ་ལས། །
rangshyin ösal tongpa chenpo lé
From natural luminosity, the state of great emptiness,
སྐད་ཅིག་དྲན་རྫོགས་ཕྱིར་ཟློག་ཆེན་མོའི་སྐུ། །
kechik dren dzok chirdok chenmö ku
Instantaneously perfected through mere recollection, appears the Great Dispeller,
དཀར་གསལ་ཕྱག་གཉིས་མཆོག་སྦྱིན་གདུགས་དཀར་བསྣམས། །
karsal chak nyi chok jin dukkar nam
White and radiant, with two hands—one in the gesture of supreme generosity and the other holding a white umbrella.
དར་དང་རིན་ཆེན་རྒྱན་ཆས་ཡོངས་སུ་རྫོགས། །
dar dang rinchen gyenché yongsu dzok
Garbed in all the silken and jewelled adornments,
རྡོ་རྗེའི་སྐྱིལ་ཀྲུང་རྣམ་སྣང་དབུ་རྒྱན་ཅན། །
dorjé kyiltrung namnang ugyen chen
She sits in the crossed-legged vajra posture with Vairocana as her crown ornament,
མེ་དཔུང་ཀློང་བཞུགས་ཕོ་ཉའི་སྤྲིན་སྤྲོ་ཞིང་། །
mepung long shyuk ponyé trin tro shying
And in an expanse of flames, sends out clouds of emissaries.
རྒྱལ་བས་དབང་བསྐུར་སེམས་དཔའི་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་བཀུར། །
gyalwé wangkur sempé tsok kyi kur
She is empowered by the buddhas, honoured by hosts of bodhisattvas,
འཇིག་རྟེན་སྐྱོང་བ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་མངོན་མཆོད་པའི། །
jikten kyongwa nam kyi ngön chöpé
And worshipped by all the guardians of the world.
ཐུགས་ཀར་ཟླ་སྟེང་ཨོཾ་ཡིག་སྔགས་ཕྲེང་གི །
tukkar da teng om yik ngak treng gi
At her heart, upon a moon-disc is a syllable Oṃ surrounded by the mantra garland,
འོད་ཀྱིས་དོན་གཉིས་བྱས་ཤིང་ཁྱད་པར་དུ། །
ö kyi dön nyi jé shing khyepardu
Which sends out light that accomplishes the twofold benefit, and, in particular,
ནད་གདོན་བྱད་སྟེམས་འཇིགས་དང་ཉེར་འཚེ་ཀུན། །
nedön jetem jik dang nyertsé kün
Carries out the activities of protecting, averting and pacifying
སྲུང་བཟློག་ཞི་བའི་ཕྲིན་ལས་མཛད་པར་གྱུར། །
sung dok shyiwé trinlé dzepar gyur
All illness, malevolent spirits, curses, fears, harm and dangers.
ཨོཾ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཏཱ་ག་ཏ་ཨུཥྞཱི་ཥ་སི་ཏཱ་ཏ་པ་ཏྲེ་ཧཱུྂ་ཕཊ། ཨོཾ་མ་མ་ཧཱུྂ་ནི་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།
om sarwa tatagata ushnisha sitatapatré hung pé | om mama hung ni soha
oṃ sarvatathāgata uṣṇīṣasitātapatrā hūṃ phaṭ | oṃ ma ma hūṃ ni svāhā
རིག་སྔགས་འདི་བཟླས་མི་མཐུན་ཕྱོགས་ཀུན་ཞི། །
Reciting this vidyā-mantra pacifies all adverse factors.
གཞན་གྱིས་མི་ཐུབ་ཕྱིར་ཟློག་ཆེན་མོར་གྲགས། །
Unconquerable by others, she is famed as the Great Dispeller.
ལྷུན་གྲུབ་སྟེང་དུ་རྟ་ལོར་དྷཱིས་བྲིས་དགེ།།
Dhīḥ composed this text in Lhundrub Teng in the Horse year. May it bring virtue.
