༄༅། །ཚེ་དཔག་མེད་ཀྱི་གཟུངས།
from the Words of the Buddha
འཇིག་རྟེན་འདྲེན་པའི་གཙོ་བོ་ཚེ་དཔག་མེད། །
Buddha of Infinite Life, foremost guide for beings in this world,
དུས་མིན་འཆི་བ་མ་ལུས་འཇོམས་པའི་དཔལ། །
dü min chiwa malü jompé pal
Your glory overcomes all untimely death,
མགོན་མེད་སྡུག་བསྔལ་གྱུར་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་སྐྱབས། །
gönmé dukngal gyurpa nam kyi kyab
You are a refuge for those of us who suffer without protection—
སངས་རྒྱས་ཚེ་དཔག་མེད་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ། །
sangye tsepakmé la chak tsal lo
To you, Buddha Amitāyus, I pay homage!1
ཨོཾ་ན་མོ་བྷ་ག་ཝ་ཏེ། ཨ་པ་རི་མི་ཏ་ཨཱ་ཡུརྫྙཱ་ན་སུ་བི་ནི་ཤྩི་ཏ་ཏེ་ཛོ་རྭ་ཛཱ་ཡ། ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏཱ་ཡ། ཨརྷ་ཏེ་སམྱཀྶཾ་བུདྡྷཱ་ཡ། ཏདྱ་ཐཱ། ཨོཾ་པུཎྱེ་པུཎྱེ་མ་ཧཱ་པུཎྱེ། ཨ་པ་རི་མི་ཏ་པུཎྱེ་ཨ་པ་རི་མི་ཏ་པུཎྱ་ཛྙཱ་ན་སཾ་བྷཱ་རོ་པ་ཙི་ཏེ། ཨོཾ་སརྦ་སཾ་སྐཱ་ར་པ་རི་ཤུདྡྷ་དྷརྨ་ཏེ་ག་ག་ན་ས་མུཏྒ་ཏེ་སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ་བི་ཤུདྡྷེ་མ་ཧཱ་ན་ཡ་པ་རི་ཝཱ་རེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།
om namo bhagawate | aparimita ayurjnana subinischita tejo rajaya | tathagataya arhate samyaksambuddhaya | tadyatha om punye punye maha punye | aparimita punye aparimita punya jnana sambharo pachite | om sarva samskara parishuddha dharmate gagana samudgate svabhava vishuddhe mahanaya parivare svaha |
oṃ namo bhagavate aparimitāyur-jñāna-suviniścita-tejo-rājāya tathāgatāya arhate samyak saṃbuddhāya | tadyathā | oṃ puṇye puṇye mahā-puṇye 'parimita-puṇye 'parimita-puṇya-jñāna-saṃbhāropacite | oṃ sarva-saṃskāra-pariśuddhe dharmate gagana-samudgate svabhāva-viśuddhe mahā-naya-parivāre svāhā |
སྦྱིན་པའི་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཡང་དག་འཕགས། །
jinpé tob kyi sangye yangdak pak
“The buddhas who are the strength of generosity are perfectly sublime.
མི་ཡི་སེང་གེ་སྦྱིན་པའི་སྟོབས་རྟོགས་ཏེ། །
mi yi sengé jinpé tob tok té
Lions among men, they have realized generosity’s strength.
སྙིང་རྗེ་ཅན་གྱི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་འཇུག་པ་ན། །
nyingjé chen gyi drongkhyer jukpa na
When entering the citadel of the compassionate ones,
སྦྱིན་པའི་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་སྒྲ་ནི་གྲགས་པར་འགྱུར། །
jinpé tob kyi dra ni drakpar gyur
The sound of the strength of generosity is heard.
ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཡང་དག་འཕགས། །
tsultrim tob kyi sangye yangdak pak
“The buddhas who are the strength of discipline are perfectly sublime.
མི་ཡི་སེང་གེ་ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་སྟོབས་རྟོགས་ཏེ། །
mi yi sengé tsultrim tob tok té
Lions among men, they have realized discipline’s strength.
སྙིང་རྗེ་ཅན་གྱི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་འཇུག་པ་ན། །
nyingjé chen gyi drongkhyer jukpa na
When entering the citadel of the compassionate ones,
ཚུལ་ཁྲིམས་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་སྒྲ་ནི་གྲགས་པར་འགྱུར། །
tsultrim tob kyi dra ni drakpar gyur
The sound of the strength of discipline is heard.
བཟོད་པའི་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཡང་དག་འཕགས། །
zöpé tob kyi sangye yangdak pak
“The buddhas who are the strength of patience are perfectly sublime.
མི་ཡི་སེང་གེ་བཟོད་པའི་སྟོབས་རྟོགས་ཏེ། །
mi yi sengé zöpé tob tok té
Lions among men, they have realized patience’s strength.
སྙིང་རྗེ་ཅན་གྱི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་འཇུག་པ་ན། །
nyingjé chen gyi drongkhyer jukpa na
When entering the citadel of the compassionate ones,
བཟོད་པའི་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་སྒྲ་ནི་གྲགས་པར་འགྱུར། །
zöpé tob kyi dra ni drakpar gyur
The sound of the strength of patience is heard.
བརྩོན་འགྲུས་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཡང་དག་འཕགས། །
tsöndrü tob kyi sangye yangdak pak
“The buddhas who are the strength of diligence are perfectly sublime.
མི་ཡི་སེང་གེ་བརྩོན་འགྲུས་སྟོབས་རྟོགས་ཏེ། །
mi yi sengé tsöndrü tob tok té
Lions among men, they have realized diligence’s strength.
སྙིང་རྗེ་ཅན་གྱི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་འཇུག་པ་ན། །
nyingjé chen gyi drongkhyer jukpa na
When entering the citadel of the compassionate ones,
བརྩོན་འགྲུས་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་སྒྲ་ནི་གྲགས་པར་འགྱུར། །
tsöndrü tob kyi dra ni drakpar gyur
The sound of the strength of diligence is heard.
བསམ་གཏན་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཡང་དག་འཕགས། །
samten tob kyi sangye yangdak pak
“The buddhas who are the strength of meditation are perfectly sublime.
མི་ཡི་སེང་གེ་བསམ་གཏན་སྟོབས་རྟོགས་ཏེ། །
mi yi sengé samten tob tok té
Lions among men, they have realized meditation’s strength.
སྙིང་རྗེ་ཅན་གྱི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་འཇུག་པ་ན། །
nyingjé chen gyi drongkhyer jukpa na
When entering the citadel of the compassionate ones,
བསམ་གཏན་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་སྒྲ་ནི་གྲགས་པར་འགྱུར། །
samten tob kyi dra ni drakpar gyur
The sound of the strength of meditation is heard.
ཤེས་རབ་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཡང་དག་འཕགས། །
sherab tob kyi sangye yangdak pak
“The buddhas who are the strength of wisdom are perfectly sublime.
མི་ཡི་སེང་གེ་ཤེས་རབ་སྟོབས་རྟོགས་ཏེ། །
mi yi sengé sherab tob tok té
Lions among men, they have realized wisdom’s strength.
སྙིང་རྗེ་ཅན་གྱི་གྲོང་ཁྱེར་འཇུག་པ་ན། །
nyingjé chen gyi drongkhyer jukpa na
When entering the citadel of the compassionate ones,
ཤེས་རབ་སྟོབས་ཀྱི་སྒྲ་ནི་གྲགས་པར་འགྱུར། །
sherab tob kyi dra ni drakpar gyur
The sound of the strength of wisdom is heard.”
