SARVA MANGALAM

From the Most Precious Essence of the United Intent of the Long Life Practices:
Here is Contained the Secret Practice of the Long Life,
the Heart Pledge of the Vidyadhara Padmasambhava.


OM GURU AYU JNANA SIDDHI HUM

I prostrate to the deities of long life.




I, the immortal Padmakara and others like me through the blesing of the Protector Amitayusand Goddess
Candali have attained siddhis. In the dwelling of the cave on the cliff of Maratika in union of male and female
with the divine consort Mandarava I have achieved the Long Life siddhi.This practice of the heart essence of
the unified enlightened intent of the long life is the most profound practice of the long life.
In the secluded place arrange the mandala and offerings according to the scriptures.

Practice begins with the first of the three Excellences 1:


namo kn chok sum d ts yi lha tsok la

kyap su chi'o dro la sem chok ky


NAMO I take refuge in the unification of Three Jewels and the gathering of the long life
deities I and generate bodhicitta for the benefit of all migrating beings.

All obstacles are self-liberated by dissolution into into the state of bliss.

jik drel yo m dor j gur du gyur


Indestructible and Immovable (state of the Vajra) becomes the (protective)Vajra Tent.

I pay homage to the recognition of my own awareness that is beyond the duality of birth and
death.

chi m ts yi lha tsok jin pop chik


May the gathering of the deities of the long life bestow their blessing onto me.

n ch tam ch ts yi d tsir gyur


The vessel and the nectar (all universe and its inhabitants) manifests as the nectar of the long
life.

Second, the main practice:


ah nam dak d chen ting dzin sel w dang
A From the utterly pure state of samadhi of the clarity of the great bliss

ky chi d drel rang rik jang chup sem


from the bodhicitta of my own awareness primordially free from birth and death


nying po hri yik kyi tro d l
manifests the essence syllable Hri. (Through the virtue of) emanating and re-absorbing the
lights,

nang w ngo wo gn po ts pak m


it transforms into the essence of the manifestation of the protector Amitayus.

mar sel zhel chik chak nyi kyil trung zhuk


He is bright red with one face and two arms, sitting in the crosed leg posture,

long k gyen dzok da dar ts bum dzin


He is adorned with the complete ornaments of the Sambhogakaya, holding dadar and the long
life vase.

tong nyi pema gar gyi wang mo tril


He is united with the Queen of the Lotus Dance of Emptiness

ts dak rik zhi yap yum khor dang ch

surrounded by the lords of long life of the four families in union.

rang dang tsen p gyen dang cha luk dzok


they are perfectly adorned with self-manifested major and minor marks (of a buddha).

gak m tong sel y sh rang gom


Meditate (on that) in the state of uninterrupted, self-luminous wisdom of emptiness and
clarity.

Than, the invitation:


hum hrih ky m d chen pem zhing kham n
From the Lotus Realm of the Unborn Great Bliss

chi m ts yi lha tsok shek su sl


I invoke gathering of the deities of the immortal life.

ma gak d tong y sh long yang zhuk


jik drel dor j ku la chak tsel lo
I pay homage to the indestructible vajra body of you who reside in the vast expanse of the
uninterrupted wisdom of bliss and emptiness.

gang shar rang drl dak p ch pa bl


I offer the pure offering of the self-liberation of everything that arises.

chi m ts wang dzok la chak tsel t


I pay homage to those who have accompished and perfectly realized the power of immortal
life.

y sh ts ta y la sl ba dep
I pray to those who have the wisdom of the infinite life,

ky chi rang wang top par jin gyi lop


that I may be victorious over (the duality) of life and death.


tuk kar da teng hri yik mar p tar


tuk sok ts yi nying p khor war gom
Meditate that in my heart, above the moon disc there is the the red syllable HRI, which is
sorrounded by the essence of life.

OM GURU AYU JNANA SIDDHI HUM

Thus (recite).

It is important to endeavour in this visualization and recitation.

Than invoke with the syllables of the long life:


hri chok sum gyel wa s ch den pa dang
By the truth of the Three Jewels and the Vicoroius Ones and their Sons (Buddhas and
Bodhisattvas),

chi m ts yi lha tsok jin lap kyi


and by the blessing of the gathering of the deities of the immortal life

dak chak la ts sok sum nyam pa yang


may our life-force, long life and life essence that has been damaged (be repaired).

ngo wo ky m ch k ts yang pop


Bestow upon us the long life and prosperity of the Dharmakaya, the unborn essence!

rang zhin gak m long k ts yang pop


Bestow upon us the long life and prosperity of the Sambhogakaya, the uninterrupeted self manifestastion!

tuk j ts m trl k ts yang pop


Bestow upon us the Long Life and Prosperity of the Nirmanakaya, the infinite potentiality of
the energy!


ky chi nyi m dor j rang zhin du
Through the (state) of vajra nature that is beyond the duality of birth and death,

chi dak d l gyel war jin gyi lop


May I be victorious over the demon of the lord of death.

OM TSE DRUM AYU JNANA HUM NRI DZA

This invocation of prosperity should be reapeted 7 or 21 times or as appropriate.

Third, the closing stage:


MAHA SARVA PANTSA PUDZA AYU JNYANA KHAM SVAHA


hri chi m ts yi ku sung tuk lha t
I praise the body, speech and mind of the deities of the immortal life.

ts drup kn d drup p jin lap kyi


Through the blessing of practicing this unification of all long life practices,


ky chi nyi m dor j ku gyur n
May I accomplish the Vajra Body that is beyond the duality of birth and death

ts yi tar chin dn nyi jung war shok


and until the end of my life may the two benefits keep manifesting.

Thus (recite).





This practice of the Most Precious Essence of the United Intent of the Long Life Practices was practiced by the
Immortal Vidyadhara Vajradhara (Guru Padma) who came to Tibet from India, the land of Aryas, in the
hermitage of the Yamalung. Practiciones who will diligently practice this will realize the body similiar to
immortal vajra. This was hidden in the center of the easter part of the land of snow in Do Kham, in the Lhang
Drang, that is the jewel of the long life and prosperity. May the son who came out from the depth of heart of the
(Master) of Oddiyana, one hundred and twenty five root dharma holders and others be liberated from the three
spheres of samsara and benefit sentient beings.
SAMAYA. GYA GYA GYA Treasure Seal. Hidden Seal. Profound Seal. Secret Seal.Entrustment Seal.


These words are protected by the Goddess of the Long Life and Prosperity (Tashi Tseringma).




The crazy mendicant Pema Ddl took out the yellow scroll from the place of Lhang Lhang Norbu in Drakar
and to fullfill the desire the of the prophesized dharma holder Ogyan Phuntsog, who is the fortunate disciple,

deciphered the symbolic script. It was writted down by Sonam Thaye. May all beigs who are in the illlusion of
samsara, without exception, accomplish their own self awereness of the Immortal Vajra!

Note:
1. Threefold Excellence: 1.the excellent beginning of refuge and bodhichitta, 2.the excellent
main part of the practice and 3. the excellent conclusion of dedication.


Offering to the Gathering of the Long Life Deities of the United Intent of the Long Life
and Others.

Arrange the suitable offerings of food and drink for the four stages of tsok.


ram yam kham rik pa y sh m lung ch

tsok dz tsen dzin sek tor jang


RAM YAM KHAM The primordial wisdom purify the arranged tsok offerings from ego
grasping. Fire burns, wind scatter away and water washes away.


om a hum ying kyi n du d g tsok
OM A HUM Within the vessel of the expanse of space there is arranged the tsok feast of
everything desirable

zak m y sh d tsir pel


it unfolds as the nectar of the uncontaminated wisdom.

Offer the first tsok:


hrih d sum d shek ts yi lha
HRI Long life deities of the three times,

dir jn tsok p ch pa zh
please come here to partake of this tsok offering.

dam tsik nyam sok ny tung shak


I confess the impaired samaya and other downfalls.

dak dzin ying drl tsok su rl


Ego-clinging liberates into expanse of space where everything is the enjoyement of the tsok
feast.


GANATSAKRA PUDZA HO


Offer the second tsok:


hri nang si d yn kang dz kyi
HRI The desirable objects of all the existence become the amendment and reparation tsok
feast.

ts yi kyil khor rap jam dang


I offer to the infinite mandalas of the long life deities,

ku sum gyel wa s khor ch


to the victorious ones of the three bodies and their sons with their retinues.

tuk dam gy kong nyam chak shak


By fulfilling and satysfying your heart vows, all the broken samayas are confessed and
repaired.

OM PADMA SATTVA SAMAYA and so on, recite the hundred syllable mantra.

Third, partaking of the feast of receiving the accomplishments:


ho dor j pung po den sum lha
HO To the deities of the vajra aggregates of the three seats

d yn d chen gyen du rl
I offer all the desirables offerings adorned with great bliss.

A LA LA HO

Fourth, offering of the tsok remaiders:


om ah hum ka nyen rl p lhak d nam
The gathered remainders become the feast offerring for those bound by oath.

tsur shek dam dz lhak tor zh


Please come here and accept this samaya offering of the remainder of the torma!

Dispell all the damege to the long life and the unfavourable conditions,

ten pa sung w trin l dz


and accomplish your activity of protecting the doctrine!
