In 2006, we moved to our own centre in Labrador and had many fantastic teachings and found many friends throughout our time in Labrador. In early 2009 we were given the opportunity to run the centre from a newly formed Tallebudgera Retreat Centre. While the space was a very generous offering and was perfect for study and meditation, the location itself was quite a commute. Since the disbandment of the Tallebudgera Retreat Centre it has been decided that the most popular venue was always community halls, centrally located and easy to access. Over the past two years the centre has taken some time to regenerate and focus on better ways of offering the teachings of the Buddha to the public. While some smaller teachings have been happening Ven. Thekchok Dolma, visiting teacher with the help of a small group, hopes to continue to offer the Dharma to all that want it. Over the coming month’s monthly workshops and teachings will be taking place at different community halls throughout the Gold Coast.
