Bodhichitta in aspiration (Tib. སྨོན་པ་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་, Wyl. smon pa sems bskyed) - one of the two subdivisions of relative bodhichitta, it is the aspiration to attain enlightenment for the benefit of others. It is explained as pledging oneself to the goal.
