(bodhicittotpāda); Generation of Bodhicitta'

Bodhicittotpāda (बोधिचित्तोत्पाद) refers to the “generating of a mind set on awakening” and represents one of the “sevent supreme offerings” (saptavidhā-anuttarapūjā) as defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 14).

The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (eg., saptavidhā-anuttarapūjā and Bodhicittotpāda).

The work is attributed to Nagarguna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
