Buddhashanta
仏陀扇多 (n.d.) (Skt; Jpn Buddasenta)

    A monk of northern India who, in the early sixth century, went to China and engaged in the translation of Buddhist scriptures into Chinese. Among his translations are the Lion Roar of the Thus Come One Sutra, the Silver-Colored Woman Sutra, and The Summary of the Mahayana. He is also said to have assisted with the translation of The Treatise on the Ten Stages Sutra.
