Clear and Cool, Mount 清涼山; (Chin Ch’ing-liang; Jpn Shoryo-zan)


The abode of the bodhisattva Manjushri, according to the Flower Garland Sutra.

It later came to be identified with Mount Ch'ing-liang in China, whose name is written with the same characters meaning "clear and cool."

Mount Ch'ing-liang is also known as Mount Wu-t'ai.
