Dānanandi Sangha

To thank and honour those who choose to make regular monthly contributions to our beloved Dharma centre, we have created the Dānanandi Sangha – ‘the community that delights in giving’.

All donations help keep us awake to the reality of our interdependence and we greatly appreciate each contribution we receive. However, regular monthly donations are especially helpful in sustaining our retreat centre by providing predictable income.

Delight is indeed the true spirit of offering Dana, and, as the great Buddhist scholar and monk Bhikkhu Bodhi highlights, Dana is “universally recognized as one of the most basic human virtues, a quality that testifies to the depth of one’s humanity and one’s capacity for self-transcendence”.

Access to our online retreats

​In recognition of your monthly support, as a Dānanandi Sangha donor, you can access our online retreats at the £0 Dānanandi Sangha rate.

Please feel welcome to tick the box that says ‘I am signed up to the Dānanandi Sangha’ when completing the registration form for online retreats, and join in with as many events as you are able to.

How to join

We invite you to join the Dānanandi Sangha in support of Gaia House by completing the form below. You will then be re-directed to the secure GoCardless website to enter your bank account details and set up your Direct Debit.

In line with the Fundraising Regulations, we aim to avoid asking for regular donations from anyone aged under 18. If you are under 18 and wish to set up a regular donation, please seek parental guidance first.
