Samayavajra ;is a Tantric Buddha who has a green-colored body, three faces, one green, one black, and one white. He has six hands. The first two embrace his consort, who is similar in appearance. The other two right hands hold a vajra and a sword, and the other two left hands hold a bell and a lotus. Both the Father and the Mother are adorned with various jeweled ornaments. Samayavajra in Sanskrit or Damtsig Dorje in Tibetan is one of the most powerful purification practices for broken samaya, degenerated commitments and negative karma, especially those arising from transgressions created by disciples with their spiritual teachers.

Samayavajra is a Tantric Buddha from the mandala of the Guhyasamaja tantra. He has a green-colored body, three faces - green, black, and white. He has six hands, a pair of which embrace his consort. Two right hands hold a vajra and a sword, and the other two left hands hold a bell and a lotus. In some traditions, his practice is one of the requisite preliminaries to be completed before a practitioner can receive the higher tantric initiations.

The incredible purificatory power of the Samayavajra puja is most effective when one feels great remorse and regret towards any negative actions performed in the past. This puja even purifies the negative karma collected since beginningless rebirths.
