Our center is an active community of volunteers and staff members hosting a wide variety of international programs, seminars and retreats geared towards personal growth and well-being.

  • Help

    Help

At our retreat center, the support we seek from volunteers varies depending on our activities. Primarily, we cater to small groups attending workshops or embarking on retreats lasting several days. Our diverse team of international volunteers plays a crucial role in assisting with these workshops, seminars, and daily tasks around the center.

Within our tranquil environment, you'll find spaces designated for relaxation, reflection, and personal practice, including areas for yoga, meditation, and leisure activities. During your downtime, we encourage you to remain active, positive, and engaged, whether pursuing personal interests or working on creative projects within the center.

If you're seeking to immerse yourself in an active community dedicated to personal growth and transformative experiences, we invite you to join us. However, if you're simply in search of accommodation and meals while exploring other cities or countries, we may not be the right fit for you.

Ideal candidates are health-conscious, non-smoking individuals with a sincere interest in personal growth and a healthy lifestyle. We value team players who are committed to fully integrating with our local volunteers and staff for a minimum of 8 weeks. Proficiency in spoken English is essential.

As part of our community, volunteers are expected to contribute 5 hours of work per day, with two days off each week. We hold ourselves to high standards and expect the same dedication from our volunteers. Upon arrival, you'll find a home where every detail is cared for with love and attention.

Sharing meals is a cherished aspect of our community life. Volunteers are expected to join us promptly for all meals, except on their free days when they have the option to skip a meal. Our center maintains a smoke-free environment for the well-being of all.

Immerse yourself in the natural beauty surrounding our retreat center by starting your day with a tranquil morning jog around the castle grounds or alongside the nearby canal, basking in the breathtaking sunrise. Alternatively, explore the verdant farm fields, stroll to the serene lake, or venture into nearby villages to experience the charm of rural Belgium. For those eager to explore further afield, bicycles are provided for volunteers, and the train station is just a short walk away, offering easy access to day trips to vibrant cities such as Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent, or Mechelen.

As we strive to foster a diverse and inclusive community, we welcome international volunteers to join us for a minimum commitment of 8 weeks. Please note that volunteers must be at least 25 years old to apply. Volunteers have long been an integral part of our holistic community, and we are excited to expand our reach by partnering with the Workaway organization. Through this collaboration, we look forward to creating meaningful connections with individuals from around the world, enriching our community and fostering personal growth on a global scale.
