Meditation on the Correct Teaching Sutra
[正法念処経] (Chin Cheng-fa-nien-ch’u-ching; Jpn Shobonenjo-kyo )

A sutra that details the karmic cause of transmigration within the six paths, or six lower worlds (from hell through the world of heavenly beings), and exhorts people to liberate themselves from the suffering of this transmigration. Translated into Chinese by Prajnaruchi in the sixth century, it is noted particularly for a detailed description of the worlds of hell, hungry spirits, and animals.
