Buddha-state The wordBuddha” is used in two ways:

    - one to refer to a person (who attained enlightenment), and

-the other to refer to a state : the Buddha State

(or the mind of enlightenment : the non-personal state of Buddhahood).

The concept of “Buddha-state” allows for emergence of many Buddhas. Buddhahood is not an exclusive property of one person. A state, which is valid for one person is also valid for a group of people having the same goal.
