The Shyijé (Wyl. zhi byed) lineage originates from the teaching of Padampa Sangye which is an application of the prajnaparamita and uses the Heart Sutra mantra to overcome spiritual and demonic obstacles as well as suffering and illness. The Shyijé school didn't last very long as an independent lineage but its teachings were incorporated into the other Tibetan schools.
