Supplications to the Root Lama, the Source of Siddhis
༅། །རྩ་བའི་བླ་མའི་གསོལ་འདེབས་དངོས་གྲུབ་འབྱུང་གནས་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བཞུགས་སོ། །

A series of supplications to be used to cultivate greater devotion to the Root Guru.
ན་མཿཤྲཱི་གུ་རུ་ཝེ།
དངོས་གྲུབ་འབྱུང་གནས་བླ་མ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ། །འགྲོ་ཀུན་སྤྱི་གཙུག་པད་མོའི་གདན་བཞུགས་ནས། །
ཐུགས་རྗེ་རྒྱུན་ཆད་མེད་པའི་བཀའ་དྲིན་ཅན། །མཆོག་དང་ཐུན་མོང་དངོས་གྲུབ་བསྩལ་དུ་གསོལ། །
Source of all siddhis, precious lama; Resting on a lotus seat at the crown of all beings; Possessing the kindness of uninterrupted compassion; Please bestow the supreme and common siddhis!
སྐྱབས་གསུམ་ངོ་བོ་བླ་མ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ། །སྐུ་གསུང་ཐུགས་ཀྱི་ཡོན་ཏན་བསམ་མི་ཁྱབ། །
མཁྱེན་བརྩེ་ནུས་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན་གྲངས་ལས་འདས། །བླ་མ་ཁྱེད་རང་ལྟ་བུར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས།།
Essence of the three jewels, precious lama;
Inconceivable qualities of body, speech and mind;
Wisdom and compassion that transcends the count of powerful qualities;
Lama, please grant me blessings to be like you!
སྐྱབས་གསུམ་ལྡན་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀུན་གྱི་གཙོ། །ཐེག་གསུམ་ལྡན་པའི་དམ་ཆོས་ཀུན་གྱི་གཏེར། །
བསླབ་གསུམ་ལྡན་པའི་དགེ་འདུན་ཀུན་གྱི་བདག །སྒོ་གསུམ་གུས་པས་ཕྱག་འཚལ་སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆི། །
Chief of all buddhas endowed with the three jewels; Treasury of all sacred dharmas endowed with the three vehicles; Master of all sanghas endowed with the three trainings; Respectfully, with my three doors, I prostrate and go for refuge!
དུས་གསུམ་རྒྱལ་བའི་རྣམ་པར་སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྐུ། །དུག་གསུམ་ནད་སེལ་དམ་ཆོས་བདུད་རྩིའི་གསུངས། །
འཕགས་པའི་དགེ་འདུན་རྟག་ཏུ་མཐུན་པའི་ཐུགས། །དཔལ་ལྡན་བླ་མའི་སྐུ་གསུང་ཐུགས་ལ་འདུད།།
Body that manifests in the aspect of the victor of the three times; Speech that is the nectar-like sacred dharma that cures the three poisons; Mind that is the noble sangha in continuous harmony; I pay homage to the body, speech and mind of the glorious lama!
གང་གི་མཁྱེན་པའི་ཕུང་པོ་རབ་རྒྱས་ནས། །རྣམ་དག་མཁའ་ལ་ཉི་མའི་དཀྱིལ་འཁོར་བཞིན། །
མ་རིག་མུན་སེལ་འོད་ཀྱི་དྲྭ་བ་འགྱེད། །སྙིང་གི་མུན་པ་སངས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
That which is the fully developed aggregates of knowledge; Like a sun disc in the perfect pure sky; Net of radiance that dispels the darkness of ignorance; Grant your blessings to clear away the darkness from my heart!
གང་གི་ཐུགས་རྗེའི་ཕུང་པོ་ཀུན་ལ་སྙོམས། །བརྟན་གཡོ་ཀུན་ལ་མི་འགྱུར་ནམ་མཁའ་བཞིན། །
ལུས་ཅན་ཀུན་ལ་བདེ་གཤེགས་སྙིང་པོ་བཞུགས།། རང་བྱུང་ཡེ་ཤེས་རྟོགས་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
That which brings equality to all aggregates of compassion; Like the unchanging sky in all things animate and inanimate; The buddha-nature that abides in all living beings; Grant your blessings to understand the naturally-arising primordial awareness!
གང་གིས་ནུས་པ་འཕྲིན་ལས་བསམ་མི་ཁྱབ། །རྒྱལ་མཚན་རྩེ་མོར་དབང་གི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ལྟར། ། འགྲོ་བའི་རེ་འདོད་སྐོང་བར་གདོན་མི་ཟ། །དོན་གཉིས་ལྷུན་གྱིས་གྲུབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
That which has inconceivable capacity and enlightened activities; Like the mighty king at the top of a victory banner. Unquestionably satisfying the wishes of sentient beings, Grant your blessings to spontaneously accomplish the two means!
བྲལ་དང་སྨིན་པའི་ཡོན་ཏན་ཚད་མེད་གཏེར། །ཆུ་དང་རིན་ཆེན་ཆུ་སྐྱེས་རྒྱ་མཚོ་བཞིན། །
གང་གི་ཐུགས་ནི་འགྱུར་མེད་བདེ་བས་གང༌། །འཕོ་མེད་བདེ་ཆེན་ཐོབ་པར་བྱིན་གྱིས་རློབས། །
Treasury of immeasurable qualities of separating and ripening, Like an ocean of water and precious lotus flowers. Enlightened mind which is immutable bliss, Grant your blessings to attain unchanging great bliss.
དཀོན་མཆོག་གསུམ་དང་བླ་མ་གཉིས་སུ་མེད། །དེ་དང་ཡོན་ཏན་ཚོགས་གཉིས་ཐ་མི་དད། །
དེ་ཕྱིར་དངོས་གྲུབ་རྩ་བ་བླ་མ་ཡིན། །ཞལ་གྱི་བདུད་རྩི་རྒྱུན་དུ་འཐུང་བར་ཤོག །
The non-dual three jewels and lama,
Inseparability of that and the two accumulations of qualities,
Because of that, the siddhis are the root lama.
May I be soaked in the continuous nectar from his mouth.
གང་གི་དྲིན་གྱིས་སྐྱེ་བ་ཐམས་ཅད་དུ། །བདུད་དང་ཉོན་མོངས་ཚོགས་ཀྱིས་མི་ཚུགས་པར། །
ཟབ་ལམ་རིན་ཆེན་རྩེ་གཅིག་སྒོམ་པ་ཡིས།། རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་གི་གོ་འཕང་མྱུར་ཐོབ་ཤོག །
Due to your kindness, in all my future lives, Without being harmed by the assemblies of maras and afflictive emotions, Because of meditating single-pointedly on the precious profound path, May I quickly reach the state of Vajradhara.
གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་འགྲོ་མགོན་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྗེ། །གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་ཡབ་སྲས་སྐུ་དྲིན་ཅན། །
བརྩེ་བ་ཆེན་པོས་རྗེས་སུ་བཟུང་དུ་གསོལ། །གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་སོ་བྱིན་གྱིས་བརླབ་ཏུ་གསོལ། །
I pray, protector of beings, Lord of Dharma; I pray, father and sons, possessing mercy; With great loving kindness, please take me under your care; I pray, grant me your blessings!
ཞེས་བླ་མ་ལ་གསོལ་བ་འདེབས་པ་དངོས་གྲུབ་འབྱུང་གནས་ཞེས་བྱ་བ། འདི་ནི་བླ་མ་རྗེ་བཙུན་གྱི་བྲན་དུ་གྱུར་པ་ཤེས་རབ་རྒྱལ་མཚན་དཔལ་བཟང་པོས་དཀོད་པའོ།། །། མངྒ་ལཾ། བྷ་ཝན་ཏུ། ཤུ་བྷཾ།
These supplications to the lama, known as “The Source of Siddhis” were written by the servant to the exalted lama, Sherab Gyaltsen Palsangpo.
