There are 10 types of moral actions:

    generosity
    restraint (from lying, killing, etc.)
    mental development (tranquility and insight)
    respect (for teachers, parents, the Buddha, etc.)
    service (being helpful)
    sharing of merit (with beings in other planes)
    rejoicing in others" merit
    listening to Dhamma
    teaching Dhamma
    straightening ones views (understanding)
