This devotional poem written in the fourteenth century by Lama Tsongkhapa focuses particularly on the practices of the initial scope practitioner: precious human life, impermanence, death, and karma.
Venerable Tenzin Namjong will give a commentary based on this text with an emphasis on how we can incorporate the dharma into our daily lives.
Je Tsongkhapa (1357 – 1419) is among the most influential figures in Tibetan Buddhism. The founder of the Gelug tradition, he is most renowned for the Lamrim Chenmo (Great Treatise on the Stages of Enlightenment) and the Ngamrim Chenmo (Great Treatise on the Secret Mantra).
