Zuko (rubbing incense),

This is not widely known and is hardly used by lay Shingon Buddhists, but before sitting down in front of the Buddhas, priests use a small amount of powder to rub both hands and around the body to purify oneself while meditating on the Buddhas.

This is the spirit of experiencing for oneself the virtue of the perfection of holding the precepts, which are pervasive like the scent of incense.
