Three Enlightenments

the three kinds of Enlightenment:

1 Enlightenment for self
2 Enlightenment for others
3 Perfect enlightenment and accomplishment

The first is Arhat. The second is Bodhisattva. When all the three have been attained, the being becomes a Buddha.
