The Questions to the Boy
| Eka nāma kiṁ? What is said to be one? |
Sabbe sattā āhāraṭṭhitikā. All beings subsist on food. |
| Dve nāma kiṁ? What is said to be two? |
Nāmañ-ca rūpañ-ca. Mind and body. |
| Tīṇi nāma kiṁ? What is said to be three? |
Tisso vedanā. The three feelings. |
| Cattāri nāma kiṁ? What is said to be four? |
Cattāri ariyasaccāni. The four noble truths. |
| Pañca nāma kiṁ? What is said to be five? |
Pañcupādānakkhandhā. The five constituent groups (of mind and body) that provide fuel for attachment. |

Cha ajjhattikāni āyatanāni. The six internal sense spheres. |
