Some part of me was far  away in space, yet I could look down to see myself sitting on the floor before the image of Mahakali. I felt like reproaching myself for this adventure, and reminded myself  that I should not only be in my body, but in deep meditation. I heard the sound of a key turning in a padlock, and daylight flooded in as the doors opened. Surely this must be an emergency. I was sure I had not been in the Temple more than ten minutes,
