Shanti Path means the path to peace, derived from shanti; meaning peace, and path, meaning the course or direction one is moving.
Adapted from the Sanskrit mantra Shanti Path (pronounced: shaanthi paath), this prayer for peace calms the agitations of the mind and helps us transcend the ego-self.
Mantras can be considered to be chants or prayers comprised of syllables, sounds, and words. When repeated together, mantras produce physical vibrations invoking spiritual energies in the body.
Daily recitation of mantras creates positive feelings and expands the mind, leading to inner transformation. This positive energy also helps create a feeling of well-being and peace in our environment, and ultimately in the whole Universe.
The Shanti Path Mantra in Sanskrit:
Om Dyauh Shantirantariskshah Shantih Prithvee Shantiraapah Shantih roshadhayah Shanti.
Vanaspatayah Shantirvishwedevah ShantirBrahma shantih Sarvah Shantih Shantirev Shantih Saa Maa Shantiredhi.

Unto Heaven be Peace, Unto the Sky and the Earth be Peace,
