Guang Huan Mi Zong
Tibetan Buddhist Encyclopedia is now 14 years old
Our Encyclopedia recently received a wonderful opportunity for a major renewal on its 14th birthday . After many years of growing our Encyclopedia had become bit slow and sometimes even decided not to answer when people knocked on the door.
A very big thank you and blessings to Dmytro Rudiy (rudiy.nl) for his great work in upgrading the server, website and all of the infrastructure and helping make TBE fast and reliable again for everyone!
We kindly ask our readers to help us cover the cost of this important upgrade and also help with the ongoing costs of keeping the Encyclopedia alive and freely available.

“Guang Huan” in Chinese literally means halo, the ring of light surrounding a person or object; it represents the universe. “Mi Zong” means secret sect; it refers to a method of spiritual cultivation. “Guang Huan Mi Zong” is an unsurpassed method of spiritual development through cultivating divine life energy from the universe.
Guang Huan Mi Zong Buddhism, founded by Holy Master Ziguang Shang Shi, contains the essence of all Buddhist teachings. Its Great Perfection Dharma is the direct lineage of the teaching of Sakyamuni Buddha and is the supreme level of the nine vehicles of Buddhism. With over 2,500 years’ history of exploration and development, it was transmitted through the centuries from master to disciple. Holy Master has simplified the different methods of spiritual practice perfected by the Buddha into one system of cultivation with nine levels culminating in enlightenment, and liberation from suffering.
Guang Huan Mi Zong Health Dharma is the entry level of the practice, with the focus on establishing increasing levels of mental, physical, and spiritual health, energy, and vitality.
The higher levels of practice involve attaining increasingly deeper levels of mastery in order to benefit others and live a life rooted in the personal realization of Supreme Truth. Holy Ziguang Shang Shi teaches different cultivation methods according to different affinities, root capacity and karma.
Guang Huan Mi Zong Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by Holy Ziguang Shang Shi to promote Guang Huan Mi Zong Buddhism and the benefits of its Dharma practice to all people with the aim of creating world peace, human health, and religious harmony.
