Helistas hea tuttav Rootsist, ERSP asutaja Vello Väärtnõu. Tuntud vabadusvõitleja, kellest on juttu ka meie kirjutatud "Vaba ühiskonna raamatus." Ja teatas, et teda ei olegi enam olemas.

Vello Väärtnõu (sündinud 1951) on Eesti ajaloos legendaarne tegelane, Eesti Rahvusliku Sõltumatuse Partei (ERSP) looja, pärit Saaremaalt, praeguse siseministri Jüri Pihli koolivend. Pärast ERSP loomist 1987. aastal ja 1988. aasta 2. veebuaril korraldatud väljaastumist Tartus saadeti Väärtnõu Nõukogude Liidust välja. Ta elas 14 aastat Rootsis, 2007. aastal asus taastama oma talu Läänemaal Lihula külje all, kuhu rajas budistliku templi.

Vello Väärtnõu (born 1951) is a legendary figure in Estonian history, the founder of the Estonian National Independence Party (ERSP), from Saaremaa, a schoolmate of the present Minister of the Interior, Jüri Pihl. After the founding of the ERSP in 1987 and the action organised in Tartu on 2 February 1988, Väärtnõu was expelled from the Soviet Union.
