Tibetan Buddhist Encyclopedia is now 14 years old

Our Encyclopedia recently received a wonderful opportunity for a major renewal on its 14th birthday . After many years of growing our Encyclopedia had become bit slow and sometimes even decided not to answer when people knocked on the door.

A very big thank you and blessings to Dmytro Rudiy (rudiy.nl) for his great work in upgrading the server, website and all of the infrastructure and helping make TBE fast and reliable again for everyone!

We kindly ask our readers to help us cover the cost of this important upgrade and also help with the ongoing costs of keeping the Encyclopedia alive and freely available.

Loong

Biologically, Loong is a mobile energy and it is the inseparable part of mind. This subtle flow of energy circulates throughout our body carrying blood and nutrients. It also helps the respiratory system, sensory organs and bodily growth. Loong carries out the movement of body, speech and mind. This subtle energy cannot be seen under the microscope, which does not mean that it is not there. J

ust as we cannot see the wind or air, we are still able to feel it when it touches our skin and we are also able to see the trees and leaves moving because of it. When Loong is in excess, or is deficient or blocked in our body, we will suffer from sleeplessness, aches and pains in the bones, dry skin, colon upsets, anxiety and palpitations.

Loong is connected with the heart, large intestines, lungs, blood vessels and the nerves. We can detect the imbalance of this subtle flow of energy when treating patients suffering from insomnia, heart disease and problems related with the central nervous system.
