Snying thig rtsa pod
Tibetan Buddhist Encyclopedia is now 14 years old
Our Encyclopedia recently received a wonderful opportunity for a major renewal on its 14th birthday . After many years of growing our Encyclopedia had become bit slow and sometimes even decided not to answer when people knocked on the door.
A very big thank you and blessings to Dmytro Rudiy (rudiy.nl) for his great work in upgrading the server, website and all of the infrastructure and helping make TBE fast and reliable again for everyone!
We kindly ask our readers to help us cover the cost of this important upgrade and also help with the ongoing costs of keeping the Encyclopedia alive and freely available.

The main texts and commentarial literature of the Longchen Nyingthig are contained in three volumes. Together, these are referred to as the Nyingthig Tsapod. A fourth volume of commentarial literature compiled by [[Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo] is sometimes added, making four volumes.
Properly known as the Longchen Nyingtik Tsapo (klong chen snying thig rtsa pod), this is the collection of all essential prayers, saddhanas and tshok for the Nyingma Terma Linegage of Jigme Lingpa’s Longchen Nyingtik.
This collection has grown from its original 3 volumes to 4 compiled by Khyentse Wangpo and now to its 5 volume collection put together by Dilgo Khyentse.
This collection continues to grow because of its inclusion of all the Empowerment, retreat and visualization manuals; as well as daily practice liturgies, Long-life practices and empowerments and the Tsalung and Trulkhor set of teachings. [BL]
