Tibetan Buddhist Encyclopedia is now 14 years old

Our Encyclopedia recently received a wonderful opportunity for a major renewal on its 14th birthday . After many years of growing our Encyclopedia had become bit slow and sometimes even decided not to answer when people knocked on the door.

A very big thank you and blessings to Dmytro Rudiy (rudiy.nl) for his great work in upgrading the server, website and all of the infrastructure and helping make TBE fast and reliable again for everyone!

Rupakusala are kusala that arise in connection with rupa jhana

Rupakusala Citta 5 rupakusala cittas are

    vitakka, vicara, piti, sukha, ekaggata sahitam pathamajjhana kusala
    vicara, piti, sukha, ekaggata sahitam dutiyajjhana kusala citta
    piti, sukha, ekaggata sahitam tatiyajjhana kusala citta
    sukha, ekaggata sahitam catutthajjhana kusala citta
    upekkha, ekaggata sahitam pancamajjhana kusala citta.

Or simply 5 rupakusala cittas are 1st jhana rupakusala cittas, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th jhana rupakusala cittas.Here jhana matter needs going to detail. Although there are 15 rupa jhana, jhana will be discussed basing on rupakusala cittas.
