Tibetan Buddhist Encyclopedia is now 14 years old

Our Encyclopedia recently received a wonderful opportunity for a major renewal on its 14th birthday . After many years of growing our Encyclopedia had become bit slow and sometimes even decided not to answer when people knocked on the door.

A very big thank you and blessings to Dmytro Rudiy (rudiy.nl) for his great work in upgrading the server, website and all of the infrastructure and helping make TBE fast and reliable again for everyone!

We kindly ask our readers to help us cover the cost of this important upgrade and also help with the ongoing costs of keeping the Encyclopedia alive and freely available.

Samadhi Grove

Nestled in the hinterland of the Gold Coast on one and a half acres of bush land, Samadhi Grove is a Buddhist Community where everyone is welcome. From the moment you walk up the foliage lined path and into the Samadhi Grove you instantly feel as though you are at one with nature, far away from the traffic and noise, and instead with the birds and trees. Whether you are wanting to take a silent reprieve, to learn how to meditate or listen to talkings on The Dhamma, Samadhi Grove is a wonderful place to visit and help to further you on your spiritual path.

Ven. Sister Susila is passionate about bringing teachings of The Buddha to all who are wanting to learn. Her relaxed manner makes listening and learning an enjoyable experience and those who come leave feeling a renewed sense of wellbeing.

Meditation

Each Wednesday evening a mediation is held at Samadhi Grove with Sister Susila. The focus is on learning and developing meditation with dhamma teachings and discussions.

Retreat Days

Retreat days are a fantastic way to deepen your mediation practice or just have some peaceful time out. Each month we focus on different topics and teachings. A wondeful place to meet people, enjoy healthy vegetarian food and find stillness and quiet.
